Are you a qualified and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant in search of a long term-permanent role in education?

Long Term Futures are looking for a patient and experienced 1:1 SEN teaching assistant to work in our Primary school in the Radford area.

This role will involve supporting a child with SEN in Year Two. The role is a highly rewarding role helping to support the child to reintegrate back into the classroom and meet EHCP targets. The role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become permanent for the successful candidate.

The Ideal candidate:

  • Has experience supporting children with SEN on a 1:1 basis.
  • Has 1 Years previous experience working in a school environment.
  • Have strong behaviour management techniques and experience with challenging behaviour (Team Teach trained desirable)
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Has a sound understanding of the UK Key Stage One Curriculum
