You will be given information on the child's needs and be expected to follow plans as set by the class teacher, or the child's EHCP plan. You will be dealing with a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Behavioural and Physical needs.What you'll need to succeedYOU MUST have recent experience working in childcare and supporting children with SEN. You must have patience, be strong-willed and be able to get down to a child's level. Ideally, you will have a qualification in childcare, but this is not essential, providing you have experience.
