Senior Tax Consultant - Rugby / Remote - £55,000 DOE with Great Benefits Package

Marks Sattin are collaborating with a global Insurance Consultancy who are looking to expand their Tax team. They are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable individual eager to learn and contribute. Making this a perfect opportunity for an individual who is looking for a role where they can grow and develop.

The Role:

The are looking to recruit for an individual to work within the Tax Investigations Team. This is an exciting role which is extremely varied and gives the opportunity to utilise and build on existing knowledge base.

Day to Day:

  • Provide specialist verbal and written tax investigations advice as well as support to a range of stakeholders.
  • Assist with the application of complex, specialist technical advice.
  • Assist with a range of advanced compliance matters
  • Engage with the wider business to build knowledge and awareness of all aspects of our service offering to help identify cross sell opportunities and assist with marketing initiatives
  • Support business development actions and initiatives as required and provide relevant technical commentary and content aligned with business priorities
  • Support collaboration and team culture
  • Ad hoc requests

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • HMRC background
  • Good understanding of accounts and bookkeeping
  • Knowledge and experience of making disclosures to HMRC
  • A clear understanding and experience of HMRC processes such as Statutory Review, Alternative Dispute Resolution and appealing to the Tribunals Service
