EDU / E-Machine Test Automation Engineer - 39983 - £27.10/hr Umbrella (inside IR35)

What You Will Do:

• Develop and support the operation of EDU and E-Machine test rig automation systems, ensuring the delivery of timely and quality data.
• Integrate various systems and hardware as required for testing programmes, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
• Solve day-to-day automation system problems, providing robust solutions to operational teams.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to meet programme timing plans, through the provision of required functionalities.
• Engage in the application/development of physical test automation systems within complex environments.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of test bed automation systems, driving innovation and excellence.

What You Will Bring:

• Proven experience in the application/development of physical test automation systems or programming/scripting in a controls-based environment.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as C#, Python, and general software skills.
• Familiarity with Morphee automation system or other test automation systems (e.g., PUMA, STARS, dSPACE).
• Knowledge of test facility instrumentation, automotive networks (CAN/EtherCAT), and associated systems.
• Degree in Engineering or a related field (Automotive, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Control Systems Engineering).
