Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Coventry
Salary: £50,000 + Overtime
ATA is working with a premier waste management plant in the Coventry area. This is a brand-new state-of-the-art facility with a £60 million investment planned over the next 5 years. They are looking for a skilled engineer to drive the development and processes of the site. Shifts:
- Week 1: 6am - 2pm
- Week 2: 2pm - 10pm
- Week 3: 10pm - 6am
- Occasional weekends paid as overtime may be required
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the operations team to improve processes and performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in on-site maintenance activities and working with heavy equipment such as conveyors, motors, bearings, basic fault finding, robotics, and hydraulics.
- Completed a minimum Level 3 apprenticeship in engineering or a similar field.
- Experience working to tight schedules and in a planned maintenance environment.
- Good teamwork skills.
- Great problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work the shift pattern mentioned in the job description.
- Health & Safety awareness and good practices.
