Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Coventry
Salary: £50,000 + Overtime

ATA is working with a premier waste management plant in the Coventry area. This is a brand-new state-of-the-art facility with a £60 million investment planned over the next 5 years. They are looking for a skilled engineer to drive the development and processes of the site. If you are looking for a company where you can be a key player in the growth and development of the site process, this is an opportunity not to be missed. This role presents a diverse range of responsibilities, specialized machinery, and substantial investments in both your professional growth and the facility itself.

Shifts:

  • Week 1: 6am - 2pm
  • Week 2: 2pm - 10pm
  • Week 3: 10pm - 6am
  • Occasional weekends paid as overtime may be required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to improve processes and performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in on-site maintenance activities and working with heavy equipment such as conveyors, motors, bearings, basic fault finding, robotics, and hydraulics.
  • Completed a minimum Level 3 apprenticeship in engineering or a similar field.
  • Experience working to tight schedules and in a planned maintenance environment.
  • Good teamwork skills.
  • Great problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work the shift pattern mentioned in the job description.
  • Health & Safety awareness and good practices.

Desirable:

  • Additional qualifications or experience in related fields.
