Your Role & Responsibilities:As an HGV Technician, you'll play a crucial role in keeping major brands on the road. Your duties will include:

Diagnosing, repairing, and installing electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
Performing welding and metalworking (if authorised and qualified)
Setting and operating machine tools and equipment (if authorised)
Managing parts orders and store inventories
Accurately recording job completion times and details
Inspecting and repairing workshop equipment as needed
Performing additional tasks as required by the Workshop Supervisor
Upholding health and safety standards and maintaining workshop cleanliness

Skills & Experience:

Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in vehicle maintenance or equivalent, or qualified by experience
Excellent customer service mindset
Strong communication skills
Ability to work efficiently and effectively
Self-motivated and hardworking
Competent in all aspects of repair and servicing
Diagnostic skills/qualifications are desirable
