Do you have Light or Heavy goods Vehicle Technician experience, background as a mechanic or commercial technician and are you seeking a new job in Coventry? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is looking for a full-time Vehicle Fitter/Mechanic and the role comes with a contract rate of £19.35 PAYE or £25.00 umbrella/Ltd per hour working a day shift
In your first few weeks in this Vehicle Fitter/Mechanic role, you can expect to:
- Work within part of a small team removing base vehicle equipment, under bonnet and chassis work of military of vehicles
- Work within small cells fitting/integrating new parts/equipment to military vehicles
- Drilling and lifting and the use of an overhead crane
- Work on standardising all reference vehicles in line with project milestones
To apply for this Vehicle Fitter/Mechanic role, you will need:
- Level 3 light or heavy vehicle certification
- A solid background in HGV, Bus and Truck or commercial vehicles within dealership
- An affinity for and understanding of the design, engineering and manufacturing challenges of working with vehicles, ideally military vehicles
- The capability of reading and interpreting design drawings and adherence to manufacturing instructions
- The knowledge of how to carry out a basic vehicle service following all safety standards and maintain excellent situational safety awareness
You'll receive an excellent contract per hour rate of £17.09 PAYE or £25.00 umbrella/Ltd per hour in return for your knowledge, expertise and flexibility.
