Vehicle Technician

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, (Apply online only)

Salary: £17 p/h PAYE, up to £19.72 p/h Umbrella

Employment Type: Temporary, Temp to Perm

Igloo is looking for Vehicle Technicians to join our client’s team in the Coventry area! Our client is a highly regarded and long-established automotive company, specialising in the restoration of classic cars.

The Role:

Conducting fault diagnosis on engines, brakes, transmissions, fuel systems, etc.
Performing servicing and repairs on classic cars.
Identifying potential hazards and maintaining the condition of tools and machinery.
Adhering to high standards of health and safety.

Requirements for the role:

A good knowledge of traditional petrol engines, in particular carburettor fuel systems and distributor type ignition systems.
A good knowledge of fault finding on traditional vehicles.
A good knowledge of engine building.
A general knowledge of traditional electrical, transmission, braking and suspension systems.
An ability to solve technical problems with good engineering practice.
An ability to work effectively within a team of five skilled technicians.
