The company are a leading manufacturer of products and solutions for the security/military industries.
The business are seeking to recruit a maintenance engineer for their operations.
The main responsibility for the role is you will be responsible for the continuous running of plant machinery and to carry out any facility maintenance for the plant when required. The role will oversee routine maintenance and organise repairs.
Responsibilities
As a maintenance engineer, the duties are as follows;
- Carry out maintenance and preventative maintenance on production and plant machinery.
- Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults.
- General building and infrastructure maintenance and repairs.
- Carry out inspection of plant and equipment as required.
- Maintain maintenance service records.
- Work alongside, supervise and co-ordinate sub-contractors.
- Maintain stocks of spare parts.
Key skills for this role are as follows;
- Hold either mechanical or electrical knowledge.
- Previous maintenance experience in a production / manufacturing environment.
- Hold at last 5 years working in UK (due to security checks needed).
- Hydraulic and compression mould press knowledge (Advantageous).
- Able to use hand and power tools.
The shift is 3 rotation - 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am- changing weekly.
Salary is up to 50k per annum DOE

The role is based in the Coventry area, so is commutable from Nuneaton, Bedworth, Kenilworth, Solihull, Birmingham, Solihull, Rugby, Hinckley.
