Job role: TIG Welder & Fabricator
Salary: £30,(Apply online only)-£33,(Apply online only) per annum (£15.50-£16.50 per hour)
Location: Coventry, West Midlands
Hours: 8:00am - 16:30pm Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 14:00pm on a Friday (38 hours paid)
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Role:

  • TIG weld and fabricate heavy structural steel as effectively and efficiently as possible.
  • Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings to produce small and large welds where required.
  • Use an array of fabrication equipment to fabricate mild and stainless steel efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist in other production related tasks where required, this may be machining or quality work.
  • Follow and adhere to company Health & Safety policies and procedures.

The Requirements:

  • Previous experience within fabrication – 5-10 years’ experience (essential)
  • Proven ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings in order to weld and fabricate heavy structural steel effectively (essential)
  • Strong TIG welding capabilities (advantageous)
  • CSCS card (Advantageous)
  • High attention to detail
