We are currently looking for a Sales Manager for our Cowbridge showroom, which serves Cardiff and the surrounding area.

This a customer facing role with its focus firmly on sales and customer service, ideally suited to an independent, self motivated sales professional with an entrepreneurial approach. As well as dealing with retail and professional enquiries, you will also look to create and develop relationships with professional customers and grow the profile of the showroom locally. You will work alone in the showroom, supported by a lovely HQ team who will always be at the end of the phone and a management team who will visit regularly.

Day to day duties will include dealing with clients enquiries in the showroom, by phone and by email, providing appropriate product and technical information, preparing quotations, invoices, and other internal paperwork, taking payment, organising delivery and co-ordinating fitting through our recommended fitters. Alongside this you will keep track of KPI’s, make and develop trade contacts, and manage the customer journey of each enquiry to optimise sales and the customer experience.

Skills and ExperienceThe person we are looking for is an independent sales professional who is self-motivated and confident and with excellent communication skills. They are also well presented, computer literate and numerate with good organizational and administrative skills and an interest in design.

Wood flooring experience is not required as full training will be given, but previous sales expreience is essential and experience working with flooring, kitchens & bathrooms, or tiles or other luxury or high end sales environments would be an advatnage.

Normal Working Hours

40 hours per week. Tues - Saturday 9.30am - 5.30pm. We are closed Sundays, Bank Holidays and across the Christmas period.
