Our client, a leading company in the energy sector, is currently seeking a Smart Metering Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent role, providing the opportunity to work with a longstanding partner of our client. The position involves maintaining and servicing smart metering systems across various locations.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on smart metering systems
  • Reacting to breakdowns and emergencies, ensuring swift and efficient resolution
  • Performing meter moves and changing faulty metres
  • Ensuring compliance with MOCOPA, MET1, and CCN1 standards
  • Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities and interventions
  • Working collaboratively with team members and partners to ensure optimal service delivery
  • Participating in an on-call rota, responding to out-of-hours emergencies


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and general maintenance tasks
  • Certification in MOCOPA, MET1, and CCN1
  • Strong understanding of smart metering systems and associated technology
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and partners
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
