Our client, a leading company in the oil and gas sector, is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic industry known for its challenging yet rewarding projects. Your expertise in electrical engineering will be key to ensuring the success of various projects within the sector.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems for oil and gas projects
  • Conducting feasibility studies and technical evaluations of electrical systems
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for electrical systems
  • Reviewing and approving electrical designs and documentation
  • Managing subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of services
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of project activities


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in electrical engineering, particularly within the oil and gas industry
  • Strong understanding of electrical design principles and relevant standards
  • Proficiency in using electrical engineering software and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
