This is an opportunity for a Senior Contracts Advisor to develop and execute contracting strategies that drive commercial value and efficiency at one of Europe's largest and most advanced ethylene facilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering contracting strategy and supplier relationship management, supporting our client's strategic infrastructure investments over the next years.

The successful candidate should….

  • Be able to develop and implement contracting strategies for Maintenance, Projects & Programs services contracts including turnarounds.
  • Have significant experience in contract application of multi-disciplinary projects and services within the oil & gas sector.
  • Be skilled in tender preparation, negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Have proven track record in driving commercial value within contracts.
  • Excel with stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.

The role and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Managing the development of our client's procurement strategy, execution, implementation, and control, using collaborative and innovative contract strategies to deliver commercial value.
  • Driving value within the supply chain whilst having an appreciation of facility related regulation and core procedures.
  • Lead change management and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage supplier relationships and procurement processes.
  • Ensure contract compliance and maximize commercial efficiency.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across Procurement, Maintenance, and Operations.
  • Interface with procurement team throughout a contract lifecycle, specifically during tender preparation, negotiations, and contract implementation.
  • Collaboration and management of contract organisations in respect of contract compliance, including identification of specific improvement plans where required.

This position is Inside IR35. Rates advertised are PAYE. The successful candidate could choose to work via an Umbrella company if preferred.
