A fantastic opportunity to join a world leading defence company as a Goods In Inspector. Work will be on site at the Isle of Wight site, 5 days per week.


Role:

• Carry out inspection activities to ensure product compliance to drawing requirements.

• Needs to be fully conversant with local workmanship standards as applicable.

• Needs to be fully conversant with relevant business Quality Management systems.

• Processing receipted goods to ensure high quality at an appropriate standard of manufacture. This will be a mixture of bespoke and commercial off-the-shelf items.


Duties

• Undertake routine QC Inspection activities with some supervision.

• Have a clear understanding of and be able to apply local Management System policies, procedures and processes.

• Receiving of delivered goods.

Skills and Knowledge

Have a detailed knowledge in all aspects of QC Inspection.

Knowledge of Defence industry and ISO9001/ EN9100 standards.

Good understanding of manufacturing standards such as ANSI J/IPC or similar.

Must be able to use technical knowledge to determine product compliance.

Ability to effectively interpret technical data (drawings/specifications) to inform decisions.
