Software Developer (C++) Cowes, Isle of Wight/hybrid40- 50K + Benefits (25 days holiday, pension, bonus, healthcare, career progression)
A growing software solutions company is looking for an experienced Software Developer to join its team. If you have 5+ years of experience in C++ software development and a strong background in software design, implementation, and testing, this is an excellent opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review software requirements, functional specs, and design documents.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
- Create white-box tests, including automated unit tests.
- Lead technical teams and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in C++ development.
- Experience in the development of complex software components in C++
- Experience inplanning and execution of development projects,including estimation, risk management and time management
- Experience in team leadership,including the development of team members.
Desirable:
- Experience with Microsoft IDE, DevOps, .NET, and SQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and C++ 2017 standards.
