The Senior Software Test Engineer position is based in Cowes and offers a hybrid working arrangement.
The role comes with a salary of up to £60,000 plus a 10% bonus and additional benefits including private healthcare and a pension.
Candidates are required to have strong experience in at least one high-level programming language and familiarity with design methodologies like UML.
Experience in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies are also essential.
Successful candidates must undergo a Security Clearance check and will be involved in significant projects for the Ministry of Defence.

Key Responsibilities:* Managing the production of automated and manual tests* Oversee the creation of Software Functional Proving builds* Taking a lead on software verification and validation activitiesBackground required:* Strong experience using at least one high-level programming language* Strong experience using a high-level design methodology such as UML* Experience in all aspects of a SDLC and good knowledge of methodologies like Agile/Waterfall
