An award-winning, independent marketing and digital agency is looking for an experienced Head of Digital Marketing to join their team on a maternity cover contract. This is a 9-12 month contract starting in April 2025.
In this strategic leadership role, you'll oversee digital marketing efforts for a variety of local and global clients, while also spearheading the agency's internal marketing initiatives. You’ll shape and execute high-impact, data-driven digital strategies across SEO, PPC, social media, email, and content marketing, working closely with both clients and internal teams to drive measurable growth.
You'll also be responsible for the agency’s own brand marketing, positioning, and promotional activity—ensuring their continued success and visibility in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead multi-channel digital marketing strategies for clients.
- Analyse campaign performance, providing clear insights and recommendations.
- Manage, mentor, and support a small digital marketing team.
- Oversee internal marketing activities, brand positioning, and market presence.
- Collaborate with design, development, and client services teams for seamless delivery.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years' experience in digital marketing (agency experience preferred).
- Proven expertise in SEO, PPC, social, email, and content marketing.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and data presentation abilities.
- Proficiency with key tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot, etc.).
