Duties

  • Assist the lead teacher in delivering engaging lessons and educational activities tailored to the individual needs of students.
  • Support children with special educational needs, ensuring they receive appropriate guidance and care.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour by implementing strategies that promote positive interactions among students.
  • Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a supportive learning environment that caters to diverse learning styles.
  • Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to child education and care.

Experience

  • Previous experience working with children is highly desirable, particularly in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Familiarity with special educational needs, especially autism, is advantageous.
  • A background in toddler care or early childhood education will be considered a plus.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that respects the individuality of each child is crucial for success in this role.
