Our client, an original equipment manufacturer, is seeking a person to be trained to undertake various assembly tasks involved in the manufacture of our products. The main task involves inserting small coils of wires into an assembly in the correct position and sequence which requires a good level of manual dexterity and attention to detail, this task is predominately conducted while seated at a bench. The successful candidate will also be trained on other tasks that support this process.

Responsibilities

  • Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
  • Small detailed assembled work to be completed at a desk
  • Collect all correct material and equipment needed to begin the process.
  • Check output to ensure highest quality.
  • Complete documentation to maintain quality standards.
  • Maintain equipment in good condition.
  • Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts
  • Follow all company health, safety and welfare procedures fully.

Requirements and skills

  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to move from one task to another and focus fully on the current task at hand.
