They are currently seeking a dedicated Purchase Ledger on a part-time basis to join their team in West Birmingham, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking and supportive work environment.

As the Purchase Ledger, your primary responsibilities will include managing the entire accounts payable process from start to finish. This involves performing detailed statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy, conducting timely payment runs, and processing a high volume of invoices efficiently. You will also collaborate closely with internal departments to resolve any discrepancies, ensuring smooth financial operations and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Skills required:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably in a manufacturing environment (though not essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail to assist with coding and checking invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and ensuring all transactions are processed accurately
