We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee all commercial and financial aspects relating to construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure optimum efficiency and cost-effectiveness in all operations.

Description

  • Oversee the financial and commercial management of construction projects.
  • Prepare, negotiate and analyse costs for tenders and contracts.
  • Track changes to design and construction work, adjusting budget projections accordingly.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure all specifications are met.
  • Ensure quality compliance and risk management.
  • Coordinate and lead the procurement process.
  • Manage subcontractor agreements and payments.
  • Report on financial performance to upper management.

Profile

A successful Senior Quantity Surveyor should have:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in a similar role within the property industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction, procurement and project management.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software programs.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A membership in a relevant professional body would be advantageous.
