Description
- Oversee the financial and commercial management of construction projects.
- Prepare, negotiate and analyse costs for tenders and contracts.
- Track changes to design and construction work, adjusting budget projections accordingly.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure all specifications are met.
- Ensure quality compliance and risk management.
- Coordinate and lead the procurement process.
- Manage subcontractor agreements and payments.
- Report on financial performance to upper management.
Profile
A successful Senior Quantity Surveyor should have:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Significant experience in a similar role within the property industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction, procurement and project management.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software programs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A membership in a relevant professional body would be advantageous.
Job Offer
- An estimated salary range of £63,000 to £77,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
