Duties
- Assemble metal components according to specifications and technical drawings.
- Perform welding operations using MIG welding techniques on sheet metal and other materials.
- Fabricate parts and structures using hand tools and power tools, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and resolve any fabrication issues that arise.
Experience
- Proven experience in welding, particularly with MIG welding methods.
- Strong understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Familiarity with sheet metal work and the ability to fabricate various components effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential, along with experience using hand tools and power tools safely.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new techniques and improving skills in fabrication and welding processes is highly desirable.
