We are currently seeking a Reception Teacher for a thriving, Ofsted-rated "Good" primary school in Halesowen. This Reception Teacher position is a unique opportunity to join a supportive 3-form entry primary school, known for its dedication to high standards and inclusive approach. Starting in January, this role involves delivering pre-planned lessons to a reception class, ensuring the school’s continuity of learning while bringing your expertise as a Reception Teacher to the early years' foundation stage.

As a Reception Teacher in this primary school, your role will be to deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons to support young learners, following the National Curriculum for Early Years (EYFS). This long-term, full-time position extends to the end of the academic year and is ideal for a Primary Teacher passionate about early childhood development and structured learning environments.

Responsibilities of this Reception Teacher Role, Include:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons to a Reception Class
  • Promoting excellent behaviour management and engagement
  • Maintaining a supportive and encouraging learning environment
  • Following the National Curriculum and EYFS framework
  • Collaborating with school staff to foster a nurturing environment

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Experience as a Reception Teacher or Primary Teacher within a Primary School
  • Strong understanding of Early Years (EYFS) and National Curriculum
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
