Location: Stourbridge

Hours: Monday – Friday, 42.5-hour week

Responsibilities – MET Technician / MET Strip Fitter
  • Carry out mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) repairs on damaged vehicles
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs to manufacturer specifications
  • Perform geometry work and four-wheel alignment
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues
  • Disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts as required
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure high standards of repair
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre
  • Maintain accurate job records and adhere to safety standards
Requirements – MET Technician / MET Strip Fitter
  • Recognised apprenticeship or NVQ / ATA / IMI / SVQ qualification
  • Experience working as an MET Technician / MET Strip Fitter in a busy Bodyshop
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle repair techniques
  • Experience with geometry work and four-wheel alignment
  • Diagnostic training preferred
  • Team player with a self-motivated approach to earning bonus hours
