About the Role:

360 Recruitment is seeking a skilled and motivated General Ledger Accountant to join a dynamic team at a large Food Manufacturers.This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to contribute to the financial success of the business, providing accurate and timely financial information to key stakeholders, including the Senior Manager RTR and the Group Financial Controller RTR.

You will be using your strong ERP & IT skills to drive solutions, ensuring that financial reporting processes are both effective and efficient. This role offers variety and will suit an individual who is adaptable and thrives on problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to senior management.
  • Contribute to the preparation of quarterly disclosures and ensure reporting aligns with group timetables.
  • Manage and oversee key balance sheet account reconciliations, feeding into entity-wide reconciliations.
  • Work on annual and statutory accounting matters, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Develop a deep understanding of key financial areas, including revenue, cost of sales, overheads, inventory, and fixed assets.
  • Collaborate with other members of the finance team to ensure consistency, best practices, and high-quality financial operations.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, providing expert financial guidance where needed.
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant SOX controls and company standards of financial integrity.
  • Mentor and support junior team members to foster development and growth within the finance team.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong technical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Proven ability to build positive relationships with senior finance staff and stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
