Management Accountant - Portadown
Newly Created Role | Permanent | Full-Time | Site-based | £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
REED Finance is delighted to be partnered with our client, a leading construction company in Portadown, in the appointment of a full-time Management Accountant to join their dynamic team. This position is due to company growth and offers exciting career development opportunities.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, the successful Management Accountant will be responsible for analysing financial information, preparing management reports, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting strategic decision-making processes.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analysis of the Monthly Management Accounts
- Preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts Pack
- Assist the Implementation of a new ERP System
- Assist with Budget Preparation
- Performance Analysis for all contracts to identify trends and variances.
- Process Applications and Certificates for Construction Projects
- Maintaining Key Performance Indicators where required
- Preparing financial reports and analysis for management team and other teams within the business
- Working to deadlines
- Lead and Support the Finance Team
- Any other duties as required to fulfil the company needs
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Experience Implementing an ERP System Desirable
- Construction Experience Desirable
- Strong Excel Skills
- Excellent communication skills are required
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Strong numeracy skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to demonstrate good team ethos
