Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Craigavon, Northern Ireland
Position Type: Temporary to Permanent
We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining a high standard of driving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle for the delivery of goods.
- Transport goods to various locations within designated delivery routes.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in line with health and safety regulations.
- Complete pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues or delays encountered.
- Ensure the secure loading and unloading of cargo.
- Adhere to road safety regulations, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and customers during deliveries.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or incidents to the appropriate manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle at all times.
Key Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (C) driving license.
- Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
- A good understanding of road safety and driving regulations.
- Previous experience in a similar HGV driving role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage physical demands, including lifting and loading goods.
- A professional attitude with a strong focus on safety and customer service.
