Shift Maintenance Engineer opportunity with a large FMCG food producer offering market leading salary and generous pension

We are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer with multi-skilled experience to join our clients modern and highly automated plant near Lurgan.

Continental shifts covering 2 weeks days and 2 weeks nights

Fantastic shift rates in the 50-55k range on top of generous company pension and other benefits such as health cash plan.

As part of the maintenance team, you'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment, working across electrical and mechanical systems on automated machinery, fault finding and ensuring equipment runs efficiently.

You'll be joining an experienced, skilled and well organised engineering team, playing a crucial role in optimising machine performance and minimising downtime.

The Role

  • Planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems
  • Fault finding, identifying root cause and support continuous improvement
  • Utilise mechanical and electrical drawings correctly
  • Follow PM plans to ensure machinery runs at high performance
  • Follow company procedures and work in line with health & safety
  • Work with colleagues across engineering and other departments effectively
  • Keep to a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness while you work

What we are looking for:

  • Level 3 qualified Engineering/ Mechatronic/ Electrical
  • Maintenance experience gained in a production setting, preferably FMCG/ Food
  • Skilled across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems
  • Knowledge of automated machinery and systems: motors, VSD, PLC's, HMI's, electrical circuits, mechanical drives, conveyors
  • Good knowledge of health & safety practices
  • Can work to a high standard in a fast paced setting
