Manufacturing Project Manager

Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturing company, is currently seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager to join their team in Craigavon, Northern Ireland. This role is available on a 6 contract basis and will be primarily onsite, supporting our ongoing projects in the aerospace sector.

• Lead and manage multiple projects within the aerospace manufacturing sector, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Maintain close communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Provide technical leadership in manufacturing engineering processes, ensuring that all production meets the required standards for quality, efficiency, and compliance.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Provide regular updates on project status, including progress reports, risk assessments, and financial tracking.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project teams to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall project performance.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a strong background in manufacturing engineering, ideally within the aerospace sector focusing on aerostructures and metallics.
• Deep understanding of aerospace products, including nacelles, engine mounts, aero-engine casings, and prismatic parts, with a strong foundation in manufacturing engineering principles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, with a track record of delivering on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
• Must be based in or willing to stay away in Craigavon, Northern Ireland, and available for onsite work due to the nature of the role.
