The Right Client- Nominate Recruitment are thrilled to be partnering with a family owned and successful Packaging Company in Craigavon who are seeking a Group Buyer.

Primarily focused on procurement and supplier management you will deals specifically with purchasing and supply chain aspects. Emphasis negotiation, supplier relations, and cost management within the FMCG industry. You will be working as part of the Senior Management team.

The Right role:

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Coordination: Overseeing bulk purchasing for the company to leverage economies of scale and negotiate better terms with suppliers.
  • Supplier Relations: Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a steady supply of goods.
  • Cost Management: Analysing market trends and prices to secure the best deals and reduce costs.
  • Order Management: Managing purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery, and resolving any issues with suppliers.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring the goods purchased meet the required quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinating with inventory managers to align purchasing with inventory needs.

The Right Fit:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • At least 5yrs relevant experience ideally within an FMCG industry or similar
  • Analytical abilities to assess market trends and pricing.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
