Sales Assistant

My client is a family-owned business, based in Craigavon, they are currently seeking an experienced Sales Assistant to join their team.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday: 8am – 5pm.

With a salary of £29,000 per annum.

Job Role:

You will be responsible for the general assistance and support to the sales rep portfolio of customers in NI, ROI & GB.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous Sales Assistant experience within a similar role.
  • IT proficient with the use and familiarity of using email, Microsoft Office packages and ERP system.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow daily call schedule for customers next day deliveries.
  • Answer queries from customers in relation to products, pricing, deliveries, availability of product.
  • Liaise with customers in relation to product specs.
  • Inform rep of any issues relating to customer accounts, potential product lines that could be introduced.
  • Source potential new customers for rep to follow up.
