Connect Appointments are recruiting an Irrigation Assistant to join our client's successful soft fruit and vegetable farm near Anstruther, in the East Neuk of Fife.

As an Irrigation Assistant, you'll work closely with the Irrigation Manager to support the delivery of essential irrigation operations across the farm. Your duties will include:

  • Supporting the scheduling and monitoring of irrigation systems
  • Maintaining equipment to ensure optimal water and nutrient delivery
  • Assisting in compliance with health & safety regulations
  • Working flexibly to meet the needs of the farm

To be successful in this Irrigation Assistant role, you'll ideally have:

  • Experience working with irrigation systems (preferred but not essential)
  • A hands-on, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing operational demands
  • Good spoken English and strong communication skills
