Early Reading Intervention Assistant Role & Responsibilities:

Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
Hearing children read on a regular basis and support with Read Write Inc phonics sessions.
Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate

Early Reading Intervention Assistant Non-negotiables:

Must have recent and relevant experience in an education setting
Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
Holds a Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB, Etc.) or relevant experience (RWI experience is desired)
Must have a "can do" attitude and show a positive attitude when faced with challenges
