About the role:
- Meetings: Record minutes for union meetings, pay reviews, and disciplinary hearings.
- Absence Control: Monitor and analyse trends, report statistics, and support line managers in absence management.
- Data & Systems: Implement Power BI, manage T&A and personnel systems, and maintain accurate HR records.
- Projects & Events: Support GDPR initiatives, community events, strategic HR projects, and wellbeing campaigns.
- Onboarding: Manage and deliver induction programmes.
- Recruitment Support: Advise on hiring strategies, participate in selection, and conduct employment checks.
- Policy Management: Ensure accurate application of policies to meet legislative requirements and advise line management.
- HR Expertise: Generalist experience in fast-paced environments with strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation. Degree educated with CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
- Data & Analysis: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and high accuracy in work.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills; persuasive, diplomatic, and confident in engaging with employees at all levels.
