Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team, reporting to the IT Manager. In this role, you will provide comprehensive technical support to end-users across multiple locations, both on-site and remotely. Your responsibilities will include the installation, deployment, and support of hardware and software for servers, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment. Additionally, you will assist with server management, local network (LAN) support, and troubleshooting. This role involves supporting users across various countries and includes approximately 10% annual travel within EMEA and occasional trips to North America.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver technical IT support, including hardware and software deployment, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and inventory management.
  2. Install, configure, maintain, and repair desktops, laptops, servers, client hardware, software, and network connections. Troubleshoot LAN and workstation issues to identify their root causes.
  3. Support and troubleshoot RF mobile scanning devices and Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
  4. Plan and implement IT projects, such as device rollouts, software deployment, and system imaging.
  5. Provide responsive technical assistance to users via in-person, phone, and online communication channels.
  6. Support Windows Server and Client Operating Systems, Office 365, Active Directory, and other software applications.
  7. Provide technical support for manufacturing applications within the operational facility.
  8. Maintain accurate documentation and inventory of all hardware and software, including maintenance records.
  9. Collaborate with third-party vendors to procure and manage hardware and software solutions.
  10. Partner with business stakeholders to align IT support with ongoing and upcoming projects.
  11. Assist with additional IT projects as required.

Role Requirements

  1. Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within an international organization.
  3. Strong knowledge of hardware and software systems, including Microsoft 365, Windows 10 & 11, Windows Server (2019 & 2022), Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and general networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, and cabling).
  4. Familiarity with copiers, printers, and AV equipment.
  5. Experience with Kaseya is highly advantageous.
  6. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a problem-solving mindset.
  7. A pragmatic and results-oriented approach to challenges.
  8. Team player capable of building strong relationships in a multicultural environment.
  9. Possession of a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for occasional travel (mileage reimbursed).
