An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Technician with understanding of various commercial vehicles, DVSA vehicle standards to join a well-established vehicle repair center. This full-time, permanent role offers excellent benefits and a salary up to £62,400 with a bonus for 45 hours per week.
As an HGV Technician, you will be conducting safety inspections, repairs, and MOT preparations in line with DVSA standards.
You will be responsible for:
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles.
- Utilising computer diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Completing electronic job cards and inspection sheets using a tablet.
- Carrying out occasional off-site repairs and maintenance as required.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial vehicle Technician, Van Technician or in a similar role.
- Fully qualified and time-served fitter with proven industry experience.
- Understanding of various commercial vehicles, DVSA vehicle standards and computer diagnostic equipment.
- Capable of using electronic garage management systems.
- Own tools are essential.
- Valid UK driving licence (Class 2 preferred).
