Stores Person

The Company

Our client is a world leading engineering company. They are experiencing sustained growth hence their requirement for a Stores Person.

The Role

• Packing and shipping parts/product in a busy distribution centre.
• Picking and packing experience.
• Accurately pick and pack goods for shipment, ensuring correct quantities and proper packaging.
• Comfortable using PC.
• Experience in transport booking.
• Pallets/parcels using web-based booking systems.
• Confident using scanners.
• Good organisational skills.
• Counterbalance FLT licence advantageous.
• Will be working day shift.
• Initially a fixed term 3-month contract with potential thereafter.

The Person

• Must have a valid counterbalance license.
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
• Good Communication Skills.
• Counterbalance license.
• Ability to use own initiative.
• Energetic.
• Experience working within an Engineering manufacturing environment would be preferable.
