Our client is a leading manufacturer known for producing high-quality films for various applications. They are committed to delivering innovative solutions for both residential and commercial markets.

They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Interior Product Manager to oversee and promote their interior product range. This role is pivotal in ensuring the achievement, and where possible, exceeding of budgeted profit margins for their product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for a range of products within the interior portfolio, working to meet NPD targets, drive profitability, and support sustained performance.
  • Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities by maintaining a deep understanding of the technical developments and process capabilities of each product.
  • Streamline operations to reduce business complexity.
  • Enhance sales by developing more profitable product introductions.
  • Create new designs, colours, and textures, ensuring alignment with market demand.
  • Continuously explore ways to improve the performance and overall quality of newly introduced products.
  • Lead new product development projects, presenting solid business cases for investment and ensuring the successful progression of each initiative.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of product performance to guide decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
  • Build and foster strong relationships with internal and external partners to support business objectives.
  • Coordinate marketing trials, colour matching, proofing, and product standardisation processes to ensure products are correctly developed and integrated into the business.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and develop new opportunities in both UK and international markets, offering regular communication and customer visits as necessary.
  • Understand customer needs and market trends to support the development of new products that align with market directions.
  • Lead small project teams in problem-solving initiatives and ensure effective project management.
  • Contribute to key business objectives and strategic goals, playing an active role in various projects across the company.
  • Deliver product training and provide ongoing support to other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A relevant business qualification or equivalent experience within a production environment.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and confidently.
  • A genuine interest or background in Interior Design.
  • Experience working with commercial customers is an advantage.
