We currently have an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified SHEQ Advisor to join an established specialist business based in Cramlington.

The SHEQ Advisor will receive a salary of between £35k- £40k. This is a permanent full time position.

To work with company personnel to implement and maintain arrangements for compliance with health, safety and environmental legal and other requirements, including international management standards such as ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, and other national, industry sector or client compliance requirements.

The SHEQ Advisor will have the benefit of a mentor to support and advise within the first 6-12 months depending on capabilities.

*Establish, implement and maintain processes to determine compliance with health, safety and environmental legal and other requirements, to address requirements in business improvement plans.
*Advise senior leadership of their HSEQ responsibilities and accountability's, and the means to discharge them in order to achieve the intended outcomes for the business.
*Lead the effort to implement and maintain arrangements to comply with relevant health, safety and environmental legal requirements.
*Lead the effort to implement and maintain arrangements to conform to the requirements of the ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 management standards.
*Participate in the planning, implementation, control and maintenance of processes for operational planning and control, determining the requirements for products and services, the design and development of products and services, the control of products and services (including method statements), maintenance of company equipment, and the release of products and services.
