The Plant Coordinator will
- Integrate successfully with the existing business, relevant departments and staff
- Have a flexible approach to work load
- Demonstrate good Microsoft excel skills
- Hold a clean and current driving license
- Be prepared to travel throughout the UK
Purpose and Objectives
Provide the enthusiasm and energy to ensure that we successfully fulfils its objectives and long term strategy. The key objectives of the role are to:
- Be responsible for the day to day management of all plant in the company
- Provide accurate reporting in line with company requirements
Personal Qualities & Experience
- Construction related background working for principle contractors
- Experience of Plant hire/off hire is essential
- Experience working in a busy and fast paced environment
- Previous experience working for a multi-site organisation
- Strong communication skills
- Ideally the candidate will have a construction background
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience in a similar role

Duties and Responsibilities
The role is focused at achieving results in a consistent manner to a defined quality.
Specific duties will include but not limited too:
- To manage the control of all plant acrossin the most cost effective manner in line with the business needs
- Providing analysis, planning, scheduling, and coordination of plant movement within thebusiness and maintain records for the purchasing department
- Consolidating records for owned plant within the company and keep accurate records including service/ calibration records where necessary
- Maintain all plant in a timely manner to ensure all planned maintenance and calibrations
- Work within the procurement team general day to day request for hire and purchasing
- General admin duties consistent with plant hire and purchases
