The Draughtsperson is responsible for creating manufacture drawings of bearings and other gas turbine parts in accordance with customer specifications.
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Salary:
29-35k
Responsibilities:
*Ensure that relevant drawings and information are available for other departments to
facilitate in the production of required parts.
* Use the company's 3D design software to produce the engineering drawings.
* Extracting information from supplied drawing to prepare basic engineering drawings.
* Reverse engineer of existing products, using available inspection equipment.
* Provide engineering design support for products in the Osborne Group Product lines,
including but not limited to bearings, seals, fuel system components and technical
training in accordance with customer requirements.
* Assist in the inspection department.
* To ensure all work/tasks/procedures/documentation meet the requirements of ISO 9001
Knowledge , Skills, Education, Training and Experience:
* 3D modelling and producing precision mechanical engineering drawing (Preferable SolidWorks).
* Measuring precision components using verniers and micrometres.
* HNC (Preferable)
* Must have a good engineering understanding and awareness, with the drive to enhance
their engineering knowledge.
* Competent in the use of 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks).
* Must be able to use measuring equipment.
* Planning and organisational skills are also required to ensure objectives and deadlines
are met.
* Excellent written and verbal skills are required.
