Our client is a leading engineering firm specializing in offshore, subsea, oil and gas, energy, renewable, and nuclear projects and are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join the team. With a commitment to excellence and safety, they deliver innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges in various Sectors as outlined above.

Responsibilities

The position is responsible for coordinating the inputs from various discipline leads into the planning and execution of the Project and reports directly to the CCO.

The position ensures progress reporting within the Project according to the Project reporting requirements and as depicted in the Project Organogram.

The position manages and coordinates all third parties engaged in the Project.

The position ensures that the Project meets its financial and delivery performance targets.

The position is accountable for achieving all HSEQ targets set for the Project throughout its lifecycle.

The position develops, agrees upon, and maintains the Project Execution Plan (PEP) throughout the Project's lifecycle, including a Subcontract Management Strategy.

The position is responsible for attaining and reporting progress to internal and external stakeholders according to the Project reporting requirements within the Project Execution Plan.

The position holds signing authority as per the Project signature matrix.

Work Duties

Typical activities include:

Leading and managing the Project deliverables from initiation to final contract completion and closeout.

Ensuring all assigned Project HSEQ targets are met.

Ensuring all assigned Project delivery and financial performance targets are met.

Providing technical and commercial leadership to the Project team during the Project lifecycle.

Managing resources efficiently to meet Project productivity and progress targets.

Enforcing change control procedures rigorously, ensuring all changes are visible, recorded, and managed.

Providing accurate monthly cash flow forecasts for the Project to senior management.

Taking immediate actions and decisions to guarantee financial, time, quality, and safety performance, maximizing the Project scope's goals.

Developing and executing a fully resource-loaded Project schedule, achieving on-time delivery of all Project milestones.

Ensuring compliance with specifications at the lowest final cost.

Providing regular updates on Project HSEQ, delivery, and financial performance to key stakeholders.

Leading Project meetings at all levels, both internally and externally, to ensure key deliverable dates are maintained.

Performing and leading regular Project risk reviews to eliminate, mitigate, or manage residual Project risk, ensuring the Project risk register is up to date.

Building, leading, and coaching a committed Project team to guarantee the highest level of delivery performance.

Building long-term relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction is a priority in all

Project activities.

Managing all subcontracting parties during all phases of the Project.

Communicating effectively with all Project stakeholders.

Executing the Project according to company business practices and corporate policies.

Providing sound business sense and commercial judgment.

Maximizing Project profits.

Ensuring work is carried out safely and in compliance with company HSEQ policies.

Ensuring successful execution of Project closeout requirements for all stakeholders.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

Education

Essential Criteria:

HNC level or above

Desirable Criteria:

Project Management Professional Certification issued or recognized by APM

Degree-level qualification

Experience / Profile

Must have experience in renewables, biomass, and waste-to-fuel projects.

Experience in multidisciplinary Projects, ideally in new Onshore Developments in Waste to Energy Projects, with a strong technical background and wide-ranging expertise.

Language Skills

Excellent written and spoken English
