Job Summary:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant - Secondary, you will be responsible to provide crucial academic support under the supervision of subject teachers, facilitating learning and personal development in students. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, develop teaching skills, and make a real difference in students' lives.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant – Secondary, Your Role:
- Collaborate with teachers in preparing and delivering dynamic lessons.
- Provide personalized support to students, nurturing academic excellence and helping them to overcome learning challenges.
- Aid in classroom management and help students during lesson to understand contents and complete assignments.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere, encouraging student participation.
- Work alongside educators to develop creative teaching strategies and resources.
- Participate in school events and activities, fostering a love for learning.
Essential Requirements for Graduate Teaching Assistant – Secondary:
- A recent Graduate in education or a related field and a strong interest in pursuing a career in education.
- Proven experience working with secondary school-aged children, either through placements, volunteering, or previous employment.
- Demonstrate a proactive, energetic, and caring approach to work with secondary level students.
- Enthusiastic and highly motivated, leading by example and encouraging students to achieve their academic goals.
- Ability to work well under the guidance of a lead teacher.
