Opportunity to join a well established Kent business, offering services to the construction, agricultural and landscaping industries. They are looking to expand their Sales team and have two roles for Sales Executives available.

This job would suit someone who can demonstrate good customer service and is able to manage and see through to completion multiple quotes and requests. The sales the team provide are not always straightforward, so an ability to find the best solution, which is not always the most obvious is important. This is not sales off a sheet, so it’ll change and evolve and ultimately be more interesting.

It’s a busy team where sales are inbound, you’ll take on established pre-existing accounts which you’ll manage and help grow. Attention to detail matters. If you’ve good people skills, are organised and able prioritise then we’d like to hear from you.

Key responsibilities

  • You’ll look after a range of customer accounts. You’ll get to know them and their businesses, look after quotes for them, keep on top of their orders and be on hand to answer any questions.
  • The team are busy so being able to keep on top of a variety of different requests, quotes and queries is important. You’ll be good at managing your inbox and ensuring that nothing gets missed.
  • Able to work with clients to understand their needs, work in a consultative way, pull together all the elements of orders, including considering logistics/delivery.
  • In team meetings you’ll provide updates on account status and progress
  • Be a team player, communicate well.

Your experience

  • Experience either in sales, administration, account management or a role where organisation and attention to detail was key
  • Experience in an industry where working to find tailored solutions for clients was the norm.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under your own initiative whilst also being a team player
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or a CRM software would be useful but its not essential.

What’s on offer?

This is a full-time role, though there could be some flex for the right fit, Monday to Friday hours, no weekend work. Salary £26,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience) with a commission (uncapped but a realistic £4k - £8k).
