We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team, supporting the Maintenance Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of production and maintaining factory machinery. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an engineering background who is eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment.

As a Maintenance Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Maintenance Manager with general maintenance tasks, ensuring machinery and production equipment run smoothly.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Maintenance Manager on a daily basis with routine and critical tasks.
  • Maintain and clean factory machinery, ensuring everything is in optimal working condition.
  • Diagnose engineering faults on factory machinery and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Assist in the repair and upkeep of machinery, buildings, grounds, and other structures as needed.
  • Ensure that the internal and external areas of the premises are maintained to a high standard.
  • Keep the maintenance workshop clean, organized, and safe.
  • Undertake training as required to stay up-to-date with new technologies and procedures.
  • Carry out any other duties as required by the needs of the company.
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proven experience working in an engineering background.
  • Strong ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs on machinery.
  • Good record-keeping skills to maintain accurate maintenance logs.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and use your initiative when needed.
