Electronics Design Engineer - Kent - up to 50,000 + Benefits - Ref 1847


I am currently recruiting for an Electronics Design Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in Kent. Salary up to 50,000 + Benefits.


The organisation has been in operation for nearly 30 years, has 3 offices across the globe and have their products distributed globally. They have a reputation of unrivalled quality within their products and as a result are regarded as the go to company within their sector for the specific products they design and manufacture.


To support the business with its growth plans as well as being able to continue providing their customers with the high level of service they pride themselves on they have the need to appoint another Electronics Design Engineer on a permanent basis.


In this role as an Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for a range of tasks as the position is incredibly varied giving constant challenge. The first aspect will be PCB Design which could also include rework. They're in the process of moving across to Altium, so transferring the designs across will form part of the role. This may also include prototype building and testing. There will also be an element of technical support with their customers who have the products and you will be their to assist them with troubleshooting and issues that arise. They also have a specific FPGA project, so you will also be doing technical design and development work surrounding this. Finally, there may be some low level programming in C for PICs as and when required.


Ideal Requirements:


- PCB
- FPGA
- Experience doing low level programming (Ideally in C)
- Understanding of ADC or DAC
