Finance Manager

We are currently seeking an Interim Finance Manager to join our team on behalf of Reed Accountancy & Finance, the UK’s leading specialist recruitment partner. This position is based in Hawkhurst and offers a skilled professional the opportunity to oversee and manage our client’s financial operations.

• Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Develop and implement financial controls and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
• Manage cash flow and forecasting, including working capital and funding requirements.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure financial strategies are aligned with overall business objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager, ideally within a similar industry.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing finance teams.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
• Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or similar is highly desirable.
