Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £35,000 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to support the Maintenance Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the production facilities. This role involves general maintenance tasks, including the upkeep of machinery, buildings, and grounds, contributing to the efficient running of their operations.

Day-to-day of the Maintenance Engineer role:

  • Support the Maintenance Manager in daily operations.
  • Maintain and clean factory machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose engineering faults and perform necessary repairs on factory machinery.
  • Assist in the repair and maintenance of machinery, buildings, grounds, and other structures as required.
  • Maintain high standards for both internal and external areas of the premises.
  • Keep the maintenance workshop clean and ensure it is a safe working environment.
  • Undertake training as agreed with the Maintenance Manager.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the needs of the company.
  1. Required Skills & Qualifications of the Maintenance Engineer:
  • Experience in an engineering background is essential.
  • Proven ability to keep detailed records.
  • Strong team player with the ability to also work independently using own initiative.
