My client, a leading local construction firm, are looking for an experiencedGate Automation Engineerto join their team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a range of automation systems: gates, barriers, garage doors and access control for bothresidential and commercial customers.

Main Duties:

  • Installing, inspecting and testing gate automation systems to ensure proper operation
  • Maintaining and repairing gate automation systems to ensure continued functionality
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with gate automation systems
  • Providing customer training and support
  • Conducting routine maintenance to prevent issues from arising

The ideal Automation Engineer will have a proven track record of successful installation, maintenance and repairs, as well as a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. You will also have:

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in gate automation maintenance.
  • City and Guilds Level 3 (17th Edition) qualification or time served experience
  • Working knowledge of control systems, wiring and associated hardware/software
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
